The care, safety, and protection of children, young people, and adults involved in church activities is a shared responsibility for everyone who participates in the life of At The Dream Centre Church.

At The Dream Centre Church, we are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, young people, and adults at risk.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed, or may be at risk of harm, please contact our Safeguarding Officer (Lisa Tilbrook) using the details below.

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, you should contact the police and your local authority children’s or adult social care services without delay.

We are committed to:
  • Promoting a safe environment and a culture of care and respect
  • Safely recruiting, training, and supporting all those working with children and vulnerable adults
  • Responding promptly, appropriately, and transparently to all safeguarding concerns or allegations
  • Providing pastoral care and support to victims and survivors of abuse
  • Offering pastoral support to individuals who are the subject of safeguarding concerns or allegations
  • Taking appropriate action in relation to individuals who may present a risk to others

Who is it for?

If you are worried that someone you know is at risk of abuse, is experiencing abuse, or may pose a risk to others, please seek advice from our Safeguarding Officer. Where necessary, concerns should be reported to Local Authority Social Care Services or the Police without delay.

The safeguarding email account is monitored regularly. However, if you require more immediate advice, you can contact Thirtyone:eight on 0303 003 1111.

If there is an immediate risk or danger, please contact the Police on 999.
